This is the "pro' that they are hoping brings respectablility and professionalism to the Main Event championship? qj vs a10 to his brother, donk calls with kq hoping for a flip and then rivering it, outplayed heads up by an amature needing a miracle river again in a dominated hand... He's not a professional, he's just a maniac with no control.... Poker wants to play up the "skill" side of it, but guys like Grinder clearly operate on the PLAN A:by aggression and PLAN B:luck side of the table. Russian deserved it... played some great poker with the call of 44, 55, and getting his prey into position with aj vs a7... Hope to see the Russian in other contests. BTW: Duhamel is getting some severe ostrisism... maybe he made a bad call, but he knew he was live with at least 10 outs, and he was playing for the win cause he knew this stack would be a make or break time. Guy had the guts to risk a final table on a hard call, and nowdays nobody talks about him as chipleader in the November 9.... If you are going to praise Grinder for this debacle, at least give Duhamel some love for his "Let's gamble".

His brother is short stacked and in the big blind so he could be shoving with just about any two with the thought michael is just making a button play to steal the blinds. Michael probably knows this so that would influence his decision but really hes getting 2:1 on his money and if he things roberts pushing with just about any ace, any pair and any two broadway card he has like 45% equity against that range.
The oppenheim hand, again if he thinks hes pushing with all pairs and alot of broadway hands hes getting the right odds to call against his hand range plus if he wins he goes into HU with a chip leads which you have to take into account.
HU you can never judge by a few hands shown on TV, since alot of the play is usually finished by the river they never show it. He got lucky with his A7 but after that played well and took it down.

The QJ vs AT hand is as standard as it gets with these stack- and potsizes. Anyone saying anything else has no clue about simple primary school math.
edit: and nice bet-call on river with T8 against Oppenheim.
LOL, what a retarded statement by the Russian guy about Russians and "intellectual games".

LOL, what a retarded statement by the Russian guy about Russians and "intellectual games". A guy with the moniker "Karpov" should understand what he means...

Im defo pulling for him more in November than i was for Ivey last year, Mizrachi doesnt have a giant ego, he's not arrogant and a twat when he sucks out and he understands when he makes bad plays... If you can win a 50k tournie with the best players in the world in, by luck or skill, and then FT a tournie with, i think, about 7k people in, it shows he is the nuts. $7m+ in tournie winnings aswell... Liked him ever since HSP season 2, mizrachi ownnnnsss

Makes me pretty sick that Shchmelev lost. He just totally dispwned them. And if you don't believe the coverage, every hand has been more or less accurately reported on the wsop site, so you can go check.
