"noone there have any idea about poker " except alexstepan. he made his straight. the rest of them with their Arags and pair+gutshots do indeed need shooting.

I didn't like your play. First of all, why raise 4xBB with QJ? It's pretty obvious to assume that any hand that calls you is either an underpair(best case scenario) or has you beat if not dominated. This was the case here. K2 is 57% favorite to win even thought the call is stupid. You have to understand that someone who limps UTG will never fold to such a bet. Yes, idiots who limp from UTG with K2.
So, it's obvious you would be met by a call from a 50% or better hand. Why raise? Were you trying to steal 60 chips? That's silly.
Now let's assume your opponent is not a brain dead monkey. That means that he has a somewhat strong hand and was trying to invite action with his limp. When he raises you on the flop the correct move is fold. I doubt you had such a read on your opponent to know he was raising with K high. It was barely level 1 of the tournament.
Sorry about your misfortune but you were behind going in and the odds ended up in his favor.

hang in there dude. the worst loosing streak of my life (almost 2 months) just ended with a huge tournament win. btw. these type of hands tilt me like a mother...aspeccially K2-K8 siuted - i don't get how can you even consider that hand playable (not talking about heads-up or some funky chipleader raises)

Makes me sick when donks hit their cards.... K2... no reason to limp in, no reason to call the raise, and absolutely no reason to do anything on that flop, let alone call off. I feel for ya. I've found that you gotta take a break after crap like that happens.... or you tilt off your bankroll. Never hurts to try playing on another site for a while if you think you are truely snake bit. Take advantage of a bonus promo, usually first time players run good cause if you run bad on your first time using a site, most people don't come back. Then after a while, come back. I swear sometimes it feels like Stars and Tilt have it in for you no matter what you do... Better luck at the tables...

thx for answering Dawgs comment kolaps, that's exactly the point, I just knew my toppair is good vs this moron.

@shaftamasta

That's what I'm thinking too. I scoped so many people with small samples playing terrible but with huge wins. I think i'm gonna give Pokerstars a try and play some tournaments there. They're offering better tournaments anyway imo.

Don't like you play here either, given whats gone on around you i'd even be flat calling AQ here.

a raise is guarenteed a call from the UTG limper, then you have to play the rest of the hand out of position against a guy i'd be very scared of playing a large pot with.

The flop action is questionable as well, there was no need to shove all in to protect your hand, you should be pot controlling dry flops and if a danger card comes such as a K or an A you can get away cheaply. Or if the turn brings a draw'y card you can play the hand faster to protect it. But against an UTG limper im throwing away top pair to min raises.. because it's usually an indicator the turn is going to get even more expensive and you'll be put in a tough spot facing a large bet with marginal holdings.

Just my opinion of course!

Don't hate the game, hate the player.

I feel that was the point of this post. Not how Fry felt he played the hand, but the fact he got a 'bad beat'. Thus. In future, posts of this ilk in the 'bad beat' section please.

Thanks.

PS. Utg limp should not be taken lightly, there is no point building a pot preflop out of position with a hand like QJs. Check pre imo.
