What raises UTG, then check raises that flop... Surely only anything that has you beat, AQ or AK, or 99...

nofreecards, can you please do us all a favor and get cancer, lose your bankroll, and die in a huge fire.

You had the easiest fold ever from an UTG raise, then on the flop a check raise against 2 players. What the fuck do you think he has, pocket 7? You are literally the worst, and I hope when you die of aids you think of how terrible you are at this game.

Surely A rags maybe in his range? even a flush draw? Its 6 handed guy was fairly agressive he may have raised a raggy suited A under the gun. Either way I was slightly distracted this hand was on the phone at the time and had no time bank. If you chaps can easily get away from this hand I congratulate you as you have surely surpassed in me in skill level. This hand was hard for me to get away from cuz I figure A rags are in his range

I think a lot of people have too easily dimissed this as an easy fold. It is 6 handed in a large buy in tourney (and therefore assuming a decent level of skill) so to dismiss villains range, even from utg, to AK, AQ and 99 without knowing anything of the table dynamic is a little narrow minded in my opinion.

The bet from Charmen is tiny and looks weak (Ok this is slightly results orientated given that I know he folded to the reraise, but still) and Nofreecards just flatted and can't really have many big aces in his range as he would have 3bet pre. So aside from flush draws and weaker aces I think there's a reasonable scope for him to be on a complete bluff. Given that Nofreecards is only 27bb deep at the start of the hand I don't think you can blame him for going broke here.

However, on that note, I would say that with a quarter of your stack in the pot before the action gets to you preflop that, depending on the way the utg guy was playing, shoving pre is a better play. You're not really deep enough to play post flop and pretty much have to stack off if you hit in which case the hands which dominate you pre still beat you. By calling you just give yourself the chance to miss the flop and get the pot taken away from you by potentially weaker hands. If he he wasn't that active I'd probably just muck pre, but I think it should be a shove/fold decision.

I'm folding AJ pre in this stage of a tournament.

If I call with AJ, then I go broke on that flop as well.

no it wasn't, it's outright pathetic. We have no info on that particular player and it's 6 handed, so it sure wasn't the easiest fold ever either. Im sure you can get to a fold, but that post is discusting.

Looks like a pretty good spot to jam preflop unless you know UTG is a complete nit.

Reasonable chance your hand is best, plenty of money in the middle and a you have decent fold equity

I really think given to your stack size and the action infront that you should fold AJ there, not to mention there are still players to act behind,
with the fact you allready have 2 guys in the hand plus BB wich is a complete donk for not callin any two cards there what are you lookin for on a flop?

And to be honest I think an above average player would find a fold there, utg raise AA9 and he check's, one bets you flat on a 2spades board wich screams AAA coz if you had a flush draw or 10's JJ's you would raise there and then he jams, AK AQ hellooooooooooooooo.
