@ 15:40 - hehe, comments and chat are all wrong ;) getting nervous there? Good example for bad play being rewarded - if you had shoved the turn as you should have, he would have called and you would have gone broke on the three outer river. But you donk-checked and got away cheap. Bad play rewarded.

@Bart : you don't bet in a dry pot unless you have a super strong hand : you try to knock out the all in player to move up the pay ladder, it's recommended in all MTT strategies books, and you discovered the opposite in 2010 : well done

@ BadAcce: "super strong", very dabeear. How about thinking for yourself? What can SB have? A pair or an Ace. If he has a pair, he is done anyways. If he has an Ace, then BB can assume that dabeear does not have one, too, and can try to make a few chips off dabeear. SB is so short that he will die in no time anyway, so no need to check the hand down. Your lesson for today: there are no automatic decisions.

2pair on that board is very strong so bear should've punished his donkbet on turn by shoving himself.

Dunno if the other guy calls but so be it if you get knocked out there.

In my defense I only bet min to see if an ace was any good on the turn. The bet on the river was for "value" i suppose. I wasn't calling a shove on the turn.

@ BartJ385 - I was actually check calln it down to get the other person out ! Nothing wrong with that and u can imagine my surprise he actually bet - The fact he also bet small put me on alert(straight or set ?) - So i elected not to Go for it and play on the cautious side - Soo what u call bad play I call excellent play cos I subconciously had serious concerns as to wtf was going on here.........That internal 'radar' stopped me going out and it is FAR from bad play !

@ Bart - U talk about 2 pair on that hand and ignore both set and critically what about the straight ?? 67 is not impossible with his stack is it ! So pumping his small bet back on a board u think is safe but has possible straights on it, sets on it, nasty flush draws on it......I think with my A4 two pair i can hardly be confident I have him crushed. I make a mistake I'm out - He makes a mistake he still has plenty of room to play !

there is a lot of subconscious stuff going on with dabeear ;) you are right, of course, Dragosh might call with 67 preflop. So shoving is not such a good idea as I thought. But you should raise him with your Aces up to see where you are. The short stack does no longer concern you - if he has you beat, then he has Dragosh beat as well.

The J5 in the BB were a very bad fold you were getting more then 2.5/1. I bet connectorz just wanted to try to bust you with 32 and never thought you would fold.

WHat made you think he would only do that with a very big hand? Any queen or better and that would be a standard play.
