Here you can discuss the following hand:

bad read

was almost certain he had a spade draw couldnt put him on an A with a limp preflop + why such a big bet?

It looks like a spade draw - but I'd proberly wait for a better spot, and just let the $10 go. Unless you have a read on him.

About his bet; I don't think he can put you on a stronger ace, when you checked the turn. So in my opinion; it's a value-bet disguised as a steal.

Yes it looks like a steal and after u cehecked the turn he knows that the A is probably noot a card u like. His bet on the river is confusing but like Wafflehunter said: Let it go and look for a better spot unless u have a strong read. If you think he has a flush draw, why not AsXs? So no matter what: it is very likely that u are beat in this spot. Let this one go, may be things clear up after watching this guy a little longer. GL

Wafflehunter, I don't understand why you wouldn't call if you put him on a spade draw? You only got to win the hand 1/3 of the time to make the call profitable. I think his range is tilted on either a "monster" or a air (most likely a missed flushdraw). He know that the A may scare you and he wouldn't bet hands with showdown value like a J or even a bare 4. I agree with your read (which was obviously wrong) and believe calling here is +EV as he's going to have air more than 1/3 of the time.

hm, i would fire a second barrel on the turn, you can represent the ace perfectly and if you got raised its an easy fold.

i think you knew very well on the turn if he bets the river you'd call and i cant blame you. i think this is an obv spot for ABC poker. 2 overs board pairs funky straight etc..there will be tons of better spots. me thinks a slihtly bigger bet on the flop wins the pot and the turn check gives away your holdings..not that he is folding on the turn anyway coz he hazzz acces uuppp...i hate these limpcall plays with rag aces...
i usually tell 'em in the chatbox:
you are Bob fuckin Marley man.
ya luuuv da fuckin rag A...
good to see you calmed down bro!
Hard work never killed anyone, but why chance it?

Kenny, I think calling in this situation is reguarly good.
But, his bet confuses me. If he was stealing, he could get the job done with less. But i think Digga knew that 'nofree' had a resonable hand for show-down, so he could expect a call. But like i said - very tricky situation, which is why i would just get out of the way, in this particular hand.

I would call here too, it's a genius bet by him to bet the exact pot as it looks like a bluff 99% of the time here I think you win. Really good bet by him, ul for you tht he's a reli good player, haha.
