Dear PokerTube team and friends,
I am turning to You as I would like to know your opinion about quite a sensitive matter!
As some of you may know I "got lucky" to win the Fulltilt Mondey Night series and should have the chance to play Fulltilt pro heads up.
However you may not know that one slight tproblem has accured that I most likekly will not have that chance at all!
To put simple things brief and simple I will explain what has happened and resulted in a sanction of excluding that privilage from me.
I am sharing the same flat with my brother as we both work and study and occasionaly grind on Fulltitlt. Used to play only live and then my brother Andrej has established an account b1zz and started to play online. He did not for long as I got addicted to that convinient was and overtook that account and play there ever since managing the banroll incriese "significantly". He was a bit ungry for that :-) but said "Hey you know what keep it and I will establish another one because I do not have a rakeback on this anyhow and establishe another for him p1erot on my name as he could not do another in his.
That one he is using all the way. So here is the situation: Two of us, each using one account just each signed in the others name.
And here we come to the problem which we even did not think of!!! We are breaking the rule! We would not have discoverd as we do not feel of doing anything unfair if I have not manage to win the Fulltilt Monday Night.
After winning that series my brother gets a mail that PokerTube is trying to reach b1zz and has asked FullTilt for assistance of providing a conntact.
He, does not aware that it could b a problem responds that " It´s not me but my brother" and gets them in touch with me. Problem done! Frouders cought!
Punishment on the way!
I do not intend to spam the forum here but I am posting the conversation with FullTilt team to let you c how it has progressed and resulted in the ban
I would like you to give me your opinion about this matter as I have mixed feeling about it. I am sad, angry. disepointed but also trying to understand their decision.

i have just recieve a resented massage form my brother from You.
I would llike to ask if it´s meant seriosly?! R U punishing us for sumothing we were honest a transparent form the beggining and have explained milion times??? I do not know if you had a chance to c all the communication with us and your security team and for that reason I am resending you that below. As I know we have not violated the rule about multiple accout using as we were each playing on just one account and just have switched the names. Let me tell you that we could easaly pretend that itś my brother who was playing the tourney not to get in trouble but we did not do so!! We have not as we have believed that such a switch belong brothers is not anything wrong to do and we are not doing anything against fair play..how can it be??? So I guess we should have quitetly play the game with you and should not let you know anything as we are treating for the transparensy and honesty as law breakers and frouders.... I would approchiate your response regarding this metter as well as wheater You think if such a punishment for that is in place.!

Hi Robert,

I believe our security department have been in contact with you regarding
violation of our site terms and conditions.

As a result and as you can understand we will not be able to run the
Pokertube promotion that player id: b1zz recently won. The Heads up match
will be issued to whoever finished second in the Pokertube cash leaderboard.

That sucks, but it's pretty obvious you will just have to let your brother play the HU Match, and it should be fine

Unlucky, but sympathy from me is not forthcoming. Although you probably had innocent intentions, it is obviously not allowed for two people to use the same account. Creating a seperate account takes 3 minutes at most and it has probably cost you the chance of $1000. What is disgusting though, is that Cunego gets to face a pro again for $1000 despite not winning. I shouldn't complain, but I have come 2nd in two of these 'face a pro for $1000' promotions and the time he comes 2nd he faces the pro anyway. But he isn't lucky. That would be unfair to say? Right cunego? lol.

I gotta feel sorry for you mate even but I don't think you didn't do anything wrong here to be honnest.
Meanwhile, i realy would like PT to fix this problem if it's possible.

just wanted to say a few words as I am Roberts brother and I originally created the account b1zz :]
Some guy from fulltilt support called me a few days ago, as I was the one whose credentials were on the account.
He told me that they were contacting me in order to set up the heads up.
I was quite excited and told him, that it is actually my brother (little did I know what this will cause)
who is to play the heads up with a fulltilt red pro.
And then boom, FT support started to say that we have violated the site rules and whatnot...
Honestly, who has never played together with a friend or something?
They just dont know so its okay. And you know the rest of the sad story, its just ridiculous.
Thanks to all the people that feel the same as us about fulltilt support.

lol. u think full tilt would let it slide since they will get such bad press and complaints from the whole pokertube community. but i understand that they would rather not waste a pros time and 1k if they can. if they rearrange it for the 2nd place finisher then im confused as to why they would bother....but on a funny note.. u just got a bad beat from ur brother!

I win for doubting first ;) lol surely if you can give some actual proof that you and your brother exsist, like a picture of driving licenses or passports next to each other, blanking out all the sensitive shit, surely fulltilt would accept it...

Are two brothers supposed to have the same level of english? I'm not sure I get ur point there. Okay I truly believe that b1zz/pier0t have made some mistakes but i don't see why you're attzacking to his integrity?

Anyway, i guess we have to say good luck to Cunego now. Cause he really needs it.

wow, i thought pt and ftp had problems reaching you and that was the cause why they wanted the runner up to play.. i feel sorry for you if you havent been multi tabeling etc, because i think if you havent you should be allowed to play.. anyhow i am again super lucky which i am always when its a type of pt turny... hope you dont have any bad feelings for me just because ftp gave your price to me the runner up instead... to beat another pro i would again need alot of luck, but i dont hink that would be a matter if bear films, as i always run good when he does..
