Joobs wrote:ebster35 wrote:Great Video Sir .. haha testosterone levels were at an all time high .. if u saw how i went out was pretty sick .. i probabbly shouldnt have called since it was on the bubble and i had a pretty decent stack at that stage about 30 k but it was such a weak buttom shove by the retard Joseph Showdown he is a weak player who got a nice run of hands to make it deep .. For those of you who dont know what im talking about .. MR Joseph Showdown Shoved 35k or something when blinds were 300-600 or something cant remember exactly .. i was on the BB had AK clubs, i gave it a thought and didnt put him on anything other than a bluff to shove all in so i called the genius probably shat his pants when he revealed the magnificent 78 off suit .. Not to my surprise at all he floped a straight 9 10 J .. tournament over in one shocking turn of events after i personally think i played so well to get there .. MR Nobby deserved to win .. good player .. winner got lucky but thats poker .. GL everybody on Monday .. See you on the final table Beaar! ;) Not wanting to place myself in the middle of the fray too much but I'm pretty sure I was railing at the time of this hand and I think you've made a huge exaggeration. It was quite a large open shove but nowhere near the 50bb you're suggesting. If you have the hand history and it turns out I'm wrong then I apologise but I'm pretty sure it was <20bb which, given that it was the bubble, is not a horrible play. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't have called either. In fact as the short stack in the sb had called you abosolutely should call because you're well ahead of his range and the only way you bubble is if the short stack scoops and Joseph beats you. So, yes, you were very unlucky and it's a cruel way to go out, but get your figures correct before you go out of your way to besmirch someone elses name. Man what r u talking about? we were both deep at the time he didnt need to steal the blinds they were not that big he just did a donk move at that time and got lucky .. his thinking was let me take advantage of the bubble situation no one will call all in and he was wrong but got lucky .. anw wtv its poker but just bad play by Joseph which payed off for him .. Good luck to him and good luck to everyone else .. Nothing personal just IMO bad play .. Hope i do better on Monday :) ..

T9 vs Q9s small blind vs bb. Correct play by both players. Small blind has 3 times the pot, big blind an above average hand he has to call the shove with unless it is the greatest nit ever who is shoving on him.

@Dabear this is sigurvin666 your were spot on about me misplaying the ak hand on the button i really regret flatting that hand just because i thought targa might be strong utg. I should of popped that hand up to 1440 on the button for sure with my stack but easy to say after the flop comes out and the cold deck takes place but i could of even folded the hand if i would of thought about it for a second because dr nobby is never putting it in there on that rainbow flop with nothing less then two pair or a set at best im chopping because he never shoves a worse king there in my opinion. I just played that hand horribly should of taken it down pre ;(. Then the 99 hand i played like a noob because i was tilting i had already marked the player as a good player because ive played with him before i should of always folded to his shove on the flop i was just steaming. But whatever im a good player i always learn from ever situation and ill be back to win this series ;).

However, to prove that I wasn't only lucky, I will cash 5 more times during this series.
I'll give you 4 to 1 on any amount of money that this does not happen, let me know if you're interested

Bear is sooo funny, he says that the guy in the first part made a great call with AJ high on the river vs A6 high, but when I called him with AK when he had AQ on the river, he called me a fish :P.

Mennoetje,
no offence dude, but you did't have anything to do in the final table, not to mention the top 4. I've never seen anyone making so many bad plays in one tourney EVER.
But I'm glad you won cuz I know you won't cash again :)

Awesome! I didn't know you were making videos, I'll have to watch them later and see how many "retard" moves I made to get into 3rd before busting out calling myself allin with KK to lose. Yeah testerone levels were high as ebster kept railing me calling me a shovetard or whatever. I enjoyed it because it got me action when I continued to shove allin, but this time only with premiums instead of 78off lol. Thanks for helping get to 3rd place ebster by giving a loose image.
