poor cheong he was my fav for the final table. handled himself really well not running to his crowd screaming and shouting like a fanny every time he won a pot. just a pitty he picked such a bad spot to bluff with the ace 7.
It always amazes me how badly a lot of poker players behave once they knock a fellow player out by running straight to the crowd rather than shake there opponents hand first. that really gets on the end of my tits ha ha

Mozza1987 wrote:Duhamel has got to be one of worst Main Event winners in history! The amount of times he called stupid bets and all in's when he should had let it go was ridiculous but he got lucky every time. The call with JJ against Affleck's AA springs to mind and the A9 against Grinder then on the final table. Two of many terrible calls, his play is laughable and a joke. Not mention he has got a terrible attitude on the poker table in my opinion. Can't stand him to be honest! Cheong deserved to win it as his play was far better and had a top attitude even after all the bad beats! hahahaha, BS. Last year's winner was a total donk who 2outed his way to the win. The calls by Duhamel are not terrible at all. You have no clue.

Winning the A9 hand only brought him in second place if I remember correctly. I think it was a bad call, he's ahead like almost never. He deserved to be knocked out by Grinder there. Too bad it didn't happen.

The Ace-9 hand was not that bad....I think he made the call because he was steaming for the last hand against Racener.....
But in a situation SB against BB, both think the ohter one is trying to steal, that's why he made the call.....which is not a bad one at all !

I have to say that I dont think I've ever been as entertained watching a final table.there was a lot of good poker, and all the flips were about as hardcore as possible!at one point I did actually think 'these all ins have to be rigged'. Shame for the grinder, would have liked to seen him take it down.though I think duhamel did play well throughout and show plenty of gamble!the a9 hand isnt a bad call,a little sketchy but like I said,he does have gamble, and you'll never win the ME without a little gamble

Too bad it didn't happen. He took the huge chiplead with the JJ-hand and this saved him from busting after a couple of allins at FT. Right, with A9 he isn't ahead of much, but blind vs blind, it is not a bad call. I mean, it was pretty obvious Grinder didn't want a call..... Ofc, he coulda underrepped a big hand by shoving it (there was some room for 3betting smaller, if i remember the stacksizes correctly), but blind vs blind, A9, he can go with that, imo. What a pity Cheong (?) went crazy with A7, btw. He played well.

Those who think Duhamel is a bad Champ and didn't deserve to win just aren't right. Yes it would have been great to see grinder win but tbh his knock out of Jarvis was a sketchy move early on. He doubles Duhamel up cheap later too. Yes Duhamel knocked out Affleck brutally and tbh I didnt like him then either but he explains it and we've seen a heck of alot worse in years gone by. He is bad beat by players a number of times when he gets it in good over the course of the ME including at the final table. He shows some good emotion and character too which is more than you can say the Eastgate and Cada when they won. Time will tell how Duhamel will be as a champ! :P

I agree, it t is amazing behaviour given that these guys are playing in the biggest final table of their lives........a really strange way to act in those circumstances, they are obviously sociopaths.

Ugh I wish someone had edited out Racener from every video of this WSOP, that thing he does with his gum EVERYTIME he is on camera is disgusting. Never in all my life have i felt so disgusted, they should ban gum chewing from these shows, or at least ban Racener from doing it.
And while i'm on the subject of disgusting things, i wish someone would have told that dolan kid to shut his mouth whenever he is on camera too, he made me feel physically ill having to watch the inside of his mouth everytime it got to him.
