I have followed the thread by mal and his "how to" on making poker videos.

However i am told by poker tube officials i need to make the frame height a minimum of 485.

Every time i make my video it comes out at 384 or something similar. This is regardless of how much i set it to on the settings when i export.

Please can somebody help me?

I am using BB flash express and encoder 4 as the video states.

Thanks.

I don't think it is absolutely necessary to have the frame height a particular number.
It is more a suggestion to provide the best possible quality.
So while having a slightly smalling height, it would still produce a decent video, but with slightly worse quality
good luck

The reason why you should upload movies with the height of at least 485 is that it becomes a lot crispier and clearer.

A pokertable contains a lot of fine details which requires a certain resolution to be properly watched.

The best way to watch a pokergame on PokerTube is to click on the 360-bar and choose either 480p or 720p than enlarge the player to either 2x or fullscreen.

If you have uploaded a movie with less than 480p in height, the movie will only be encoded to 360p and the 480/720 option will not appear. If you choose to enlarge the player to 2x or fullscreen in this case, the movie will be enlarged but shown in a very poor quality.

To make a succesfull recording, see that your settings are set right through out the whole process, Recording, Saving, Exporting, Encoding and Uploading

I have tried numerous variations on settings however my video is never big enough in terms of the height pixels.

Can anyone on here help me find a solution?

My last recording i set the poker table to fit my whole screen and the height was around 700 pixels when i exported from BB flash. Then after i encoded it the pixels were decreased to something like 380. Can somebody Plllllllllllleaaaase help me, this is becoming very frustrating and nobody seems to know how to do it.

Thanks,

Jamie
