Okay, so i've recorded a video of me playing at the tables, about 30mins in length, about 640 x 466 pixels, and i'm finding it impossible to upload.
As a .fbr file it's 165MB, and then when i switch it to AVI it becomes about 566MB, and that's in a lesser quality too. I've downloaded Microsoft Expressor and it says it can't work with my .avi or .bfr files, and when i look for tips on the fourm, telling me i have to use a certain codec, the only ones i'm allowed to choose whilst exporting to AVI are:
Mircosoft Video 1 (the one i've been using)
Intel IYUV codec
Logitech Video (I420)
Ciepak codec by Radius
Full Frames (Uncompressed)
Whenever i do try to use the Full Frames one, it says that i've exceeded my 1GB export limit and that it can't be done.
PLEASE, if anyone out there knows any way in which i can simply start uploadng videos to pokertube, that'd be amazing.
Basically, how the hell do a make these files smaller, whilst making sure my clarity on the video isn't that of a Windows 98 computer.
"I use Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V3, Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V2 or Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V1."
Yeah, i can't find this for $H1T nor money, i'm guessing it's supposed to be an option when i export to AVI? Really struggling here :/
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.
Cheers,
Carlos Smitalos

Hi!
I understand that there's a codec problem out there. The download I recommended (Microsoft MPEG-4 V1/2/3 VKI Codec) doesn't seem to work for everybody.
Try K-Lite Codec Pack, choose between basic, standard, full, mega or 64-bit, they're all free. Check out which one you think you need, download and install. Hopefully this works.

Very strange you couldn't open the .avi-file in MEE4, never had any such problems. The .fbr-file however only works in BBFlash.

Here's more on codecs from BB Flash's own help files:

"About AVI codecs
A codec is software that is used to generate and play back the AVI movie file. When exporting a BB FlashBack Free movie file to AVI format, you need to select a codec, and the one you select will have a large impact on the file size and image quality of the exported movie.

You need to be aware that because the codec may also be necessary to play back the movie, a PC may be unable to play back the exported AVI file if it does not have the codec you selected during the export process.

Windows default codecs

Windows comes with a small number of codecs installed by default: Indeo 3,4 or 5, Cinepak and Microsoft Video 1. If you choose one of these you can be fairly sure that the AVI will play back correctly on most Windows PCs. Of these default codecs, we have found that "Microsoft Video 1" gives the best balance of picture quality and file size.

Third party codecs

You can install other codecs on your PC, as well as these defaults. Some may already have been installed as part of an application. These third party codecs can give much better results than the default Windows codecs.

However, be aware that if you use a codec that is not included with Windows by default, it will fail to play back on many PCs.

If you want to use a non-Windows default codec, our tests have found that, in many cases, XVid gives the best quality and filesize. It can be downloaded from www.divxmovies.com.

Note: for a PC to play XVid movies in Windows Media Player (the default movie player on many PCs), the XVid codec will need to be installed first.

There are hundreds of third party codecs. As well as the default Windows codecs, we've tested BB FlashBack Express with these: DivX, 3ivx D4 v4.5, Xvid, VP70, VP31, Microsoft MPEG4 v1-3, ffdshow (encoding Xvid).

How do I choose the best codec?

This will depend on what you are exporting, and what your priorities are: do you want the best picture quality, or the smallest files, or for your AVI to playback on as many Windows PCs as possible? Different codecs will give varying quality and file size when exporting different movies. You'll need to try it out and see the results."
