Need help uploading a video please!

Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered Posts: 4		Hi all, need to upload a video im using camstudio7 to record, 22 mins says 1,100kb the file im uploading, when i go to upload on here it comes up with status then after about a minute comes up diagnose connection and lost connection, this even when on other sites. i have also tried this with no other files open. could someone please help? format saved as WMV. is there anything i need to do eg. zip it if oso you will need to walk me through as i cant seem to do anything. or if i need to crop video the same, although does say you can upload 60 mins here Many thanks John

So u might have some connection problems when uploading. And I didn't understand how big a file u tried to upload. In general I think 22 minutes should be okay. Hope u'll get some useful help soon :).

Had no problem uploading same video to YouTube. Sent e-mail to the Admin and never heard anything back. Dabeear has a video here that tells how to format and record a video using Camtasia, maybe one of his formatting tips will help. Or else you can download BB FlashBack(which is free) there is a good guide listed in the forum for using this software. www.youtube.com/user/BoobiesHooray

The file format, wmv, is accepted by PokerTube. It seems like an uploading issue, try upload again. Try this: Next time you use Camstudio, choose "Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V3" under Video Options before you record. This codec creates small, sharp files with good sound. You don't have to make any further compression. Use Easy Video Splitter to split the video if needed. Cheers! Baggy

I tried uploading a normal video about 12 mins in lenth and it said upload sucsessful, however it never showed on my admin. I later uploaded one of 18mins and it couldnt connect. Both my videos are Avi recorded on Camstudio.
