Now GAME is OVER.
Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has today issued Hearing Notices under
Regulation 46 of the Alderney eGambling Regulations, 2009 to the above named companies
who collectively trade as FULL TILT POKER.
In addition, AGCC has issued Suspension Notices under Regulation 47 of the Alderney
eGambling Regulations, 2009 to the above named companies requiring them to immediately
suspend operations.
The above named companies must, until the Suspension Notices are cancelled or the
Commissioners of AGCC have reached a determination at the conclusion of the hearing
convened in accordance with Regulation 46 of the Alderney eGambling Regulations, 2009
cease to exercise their eGambling licenses, which means that these licensees must from today
cease to:-
Register new customers;
Accept deposits from existing customers;
Allow existing customers to withdraw funds that are held in their accounts; and
Permit customers to participate in any form of poker game play or gambling
transaction.
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission will hear the matters contained in the Hearing
Notices at a Regulatory Hearing which will commence at 10.00am on Tuesday 26th July,
2011 at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, 239 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 1EQ. In
the event that there is a change to these details this notice will be amended.

Apparently they are going to return in a few hours and operate as they were but without any kind of gambling licence. Seems like a good plan!

Yeah this looks pretty grim. It was coming though. I mean there was no way the site could continue to run if they couldnt pay out their US customer base. It is beyond unethical to allow other countries to continue to deposit given that situation.
Really bad news for some. Really good news for Pokerstars.
I suggest keeping an eye on Twitter for decent updates. Plenty of the pros, in particular Tom Dwan seem keen to keep people updated.
Gl to those that had a lot of money on the site.

Just mental. I woke up at 4pm to see a text from a mate saying "FullTilt is dead babes", and my jaw dropped. So glad i moved to Stars a month or so back, but my heart goes out to those who lost their money on FT. I was supposed to be getting $700 from Iron Man in the next few days too :/
I guess it's Stars and Party all the way now, i can't help but feel that this is the uprising of Party once again, their shares are gunna rocket! Thumbs up to Stars for making a public announcement and putting to rest the fact that our funds on there are safe. Crazy stuff, i wonder what's gunna happen next!?! :/
