the only advice is to fold preflop, you´re not closing the action, the original raiser is yet to act and what did you do if he comes over the top, yes, you have to fold, you´re wasting your chips in this kind of spot.

if you feel like playing the 3s there, go ahead and 4bet shove, it´s spewy too but much better than the line you took.

It's a simple fold preflop. Not too much to think about. There are too many things in your plan that needs to happen specifically to think you can win a decent amount of the time. Even if it was a good plan, then it is undoubtedly a high variance one, and if there is one thing you'll try to avoid in the beginning of a tournament then it is high variance on low EV plays.

As played i think either a lead out or a check-raise is good, although when the flop is multi-way I tend to prefer to lead because you are more likely to see people check, rather than c-bet, even if they have a flush draw.

Just fold the 3's PF... your out of position against 2 players and calling a 3 bet with a small pair.
