IMO you caught perfect on the river to catch the nuts. i believe there are more cards on the river that make your hand look not so good if not incomplete than there are cards that drastically improve your hand. There aren't many cards on the river that are non-spades that you'll be making nut straights with and majority of the time you'll end up making the bottom end of straights
