On another day I take the free card and keep the pot small and if I hit my flush you look a tad silly letting me get there for FREE. Sorry mate not well played just fortunate with the hand I had.........Free cards with the temporary nuts is never ever wise.
Summary - I should have checked back the hand on the turn and saved some money. Once I bet on the turn I am basically comitted due to my redraws. Sick but fortunate spot to Jondi. Best play is check the turn keep the pot small save some dosh on the river.
This is probably why you lose Bear, what you're saying is... Nuts = BET BET BET BET BET, Anything Other Than Nuts = PLEASE LET ME TAKE A FREE CARD, CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK.
He flops the nuts, bets, you call, blank on the turn, he checks... Now you're gunna bet all your straights, all your bluffs you floated with on the flop because he was "tilting", plus no doubt a bunch of other stuff, it seems like the perfect CR spot, especially against a player like you.
Sick spot? Its a "sick spot" because you got yourself into it, by playing the polar opposite of how you say people should play. If it was the other way around and you had Jondi's hand and you were filming, it went in on the turn and the flush came, you'd flip out.
