Poker After Dark
Poker After Dark is a sit n’ go tournament type of a TV show where winner takes all. The buy-in is $20,000 and there are six poker professionals which creates a $120,000 prize for the winner.
The current host of the show is Leeann Tweeden and the commentator is Ali Nejad. We don’t hear as much from Nejad as you would expect to hear from a commentator because viewers get to hear more “table talk” than what we’re used to in poker TV shows.
Poker After Dark features world’s top poker professionals and names such as Phil Hellmuth, Gus Hansen, Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey are regular players on the show.
While the first seasons of Poker After Dark were only No-limit Texas Hold’em “mini-tournaments” the show has used other game formats as well, such as heads-up games and No-limit cash games.
